GET THE TREE OUT

Yes, it's time to remove the fall decorations and get the christmas tree out of the attic. Doesn't sound as good as going to cut our tree out in the mountains, but it is alot easier let me tell you, and less cold. Altho the attic can get very cold this time of year. I can hardly wait to see Sean's reaction to the decorated tree. He gets so excited about things. Looks like Brian, Niki and Sean will be here for Christmas after all. Probably they will spend the night on Christmas Eve, so they can wake up here with all the presents and smells of fresh latte's and baking, since that's what Bruce and I do. Sounds of christmas carols and the reading of Luke 2. Traditions are good. Time to try and find all my recipes in the top cabinet where I just keep stuffing more and more recipe finds. Someday I am going to organize that. (Sound familiar?) Went to Niki and Brian's church last Sunday, they had Sean dedicated. It was such a great time. We saw our old friends, Eric and Susie Nelsen, who were there visiting from Utah. The worship was so awesome and Louie Jr gave a great message.
We had a great time on Thanksgiving. Bruce and everyone helped so much, Thank You. Since I was sick with the flu the day before, I was kind of weak and not all there on Thanksgiving Day. But everyone was great, and I think we got everything on the table. I know I forgot to bake my apple pie, but there was so food and plenty of sweets etc... We missed not having Brian and Angie. Rachel and Jamie and Al got our puzzle started nicely. I have a feeling it will still be here for Christmas. Bruce hasn't touched it yet. But if it gets done, I have another one. Has anyone started their christmas shopping yet? I think I need to get some kind of list going. Isn't it December 1 tomorrow?
